I’m 77 years old. I have a long and complicated medical history. I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis for over 30 years. I survived lymphoma. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in the late 1990s. Due to avascular necrosis caused by my chemotherapy, I’ve had both hips replaced, with my left hip replaced multiple times. I’ve also had a complete shoulder replacement and rotator cuff surgery. I’ve had two heart surgeries to repair blockages, one in 2015 and one in 2019.
I have been in pain for a very long time, and I have had many sessions at rehabilitation facilities. It never really got me to the point of feeling normal, usually just functional, and they said that’s the best they could do with the limits placed on them by the insurance companies.
I have been in pain for so long that it was hard to think or believe that I had anything to look forward to, other than slowly losing all my remaining abilities. I am unsteady on my feet, and it is hard to get up and down - just walking is difficult sometimes. My wife suggested we try to see if David at Center Circle could help me get some useful movement into my life.
My first day I showed him my right shoulder. It has a failing prosthetic that’s 15 years old and I was losing the little movement I had left in it. By the end of the first session I was able to move it around with almost no pain - and every session I’m seeing a route back to better mobility. He has given us homework to increase my mobility and week by week I’m improving. He has educated me to better understand healthy food choices and now my diabetes is under control. My outlook on life has improved to the point it’s enjoyable to walk with my wife again.

I am a 47 year old woman with fibromyalgia and severe plantar fasciitis. As a result I am significantly weaker than the average woman of my age. I have tried several trainers, but David is the first one that actually met me where I am and listened to me. Typically when I tell a trainer how weak I am, they think I’m under exaggerating my abilities. Because of this, they work me too hard and end up injuring me.

David’s approach was different from the very beginning. He has significant knowledge working with people who have chronic pain and has been extremely helpful. He explains everything very thoroughly and teaches me exactly how to do the exercises so I don’t do anything to hurt myself. My balance and strength are improving and I feel much more stable. I am extremely happy with my decision to start working out here and will definitely continue. It is ABSOLUTELY money well spent!

I’ve been seeing David Rodriguez for 2 years now. In the first year of training with David, I lost nearly 40 pounds! Something I never thought possible. Growing up, I’ve trained and worked out with many different trainers. As kind as all of them were, I was never able to achieve this kind of weight loss and general health.

From workouts to nutrition, David makes sure we cover all of our bases. He is consistently staying up to date with all things personal training and nutrition. Earning certificate after certificate and attending conference after conference, David puts in a tremendous amount of work to make sure his clients are truly receiving the best.

Although my goal has always been weight loss and maintenance, sitting at my computer all day has given me quite a bit of shoulder and back pain. Immediately, David was able to shift gears and provide me with workouts and stretches that left me feeling better than ever before!
